Freedom Bank's Community Initiatives During Covid-19

Freedom Bank is honored to serve our local communities, especially in times like these where the need is greater than ever. We are currently focused on two initiatives with two outstanding organizations: Veteran’s Moving Forward and Western Fairfax Christian Ministries (WFCM). Both offer easy and safe ways to get involved during these uncertain times. We encourage anyone looking for a way to give back to consider these two organizations and their innovative ways to help others during COVID-19.

Veterans Moving Forward is a nonprofit providing Service Dogs to Veterans dealing with mental and/or physical challenges.

How to get involved – When you or your business orders with Amazon please use the AmazonSmile feature and consider designating Veterans Moving Forward on AmazonSmile which can be done by clicking here. Western Fairfax Christian Ministries (WFCM) provides food and financial support to reduce hunger and the risk of homelessness among residents of western Fairfax County.

How to get involved – Currently, WFCM is not accepting individual household donations and is encouraging those who want to provide food or toiletries to consider donating online or ordering and shipping food items to their office using their Amazon wish list which can be accessed here. The Amazon wish list is set up for single serve items for kids to eat while schools are closed. You can learn more about WFCM here.
