Update to Clients Regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19)
UPDATE TO OUR CLIENTS – March 18th
As we are all navigating the various issues related to COVID-19, we understand the impact on our employees, businesses, and communities is weighing heavily on those we serve. Our role in safeguarding and supporting our employees and clients through this uncharted territory is one we take seriously and we remain committed to working alongside you to overcome any challenge you or your business may face in the days and weeks ahead.
As a precautionary measure, Freedom Bank will transition to a remote work environment effective Monday, March 23rd for our employees. Our remote work systems are designed and have been tested to allow our employees to serve our clients from any location, and we are committed to the same exceptional quality of service we have always focused on delivering as we move forward together. We have been preparing to work remotely for some time and we do not anticipate any interruptions in the service you are accustomed to receiving with the exception that it will take place in a virtual environment. All of our employees have the tools and technology they require to deliver on our commitment of service to you.
We will also temporarily discontinue our lobby services at the close of business on Thursday, March 19th. However, if you need to avail of these services, we will continue to operate using our drive through locations at our Fairfax and Vienna sales office locations with current hours remaining in effect. ATM access will continue to remain available.
In addition to the above measures that we are taking, we strongly encourage you to take advantage of our full suite of convenient digital services to manage your personal and business banking requirements. You can access your accounts online or by using the Freedom Bank app on your mobile device where you can make payments, view transactions, check balances, find an ATM and more. It’s easier and faster (in many cases) to manage your account digitally, especially given the current environment. Please contact us if you need to enroll in these services.
For those clients who are experiencing hardship in the face of this national crisis, we are taking two immediate steps to be helpful to clients. For those attendance-based businesses with revenue interruption or other consumer clients who have find themselves temporarily without income, we are prepared to enable you to access any Certificates of Deposits without any early withdrawal penalty and we will accommodate an interest-only period on your loan facilities for up to 90 days to help manage cash flow constraints. Please contact your banker today if you feel either of these measures are necessary and to determine if you qualify for relief.
